Tinkering

I have been tinkering with this raglan sleeve blouse for a while. It has a gererous cut, and can be layered over something frilly like this lace tank. Ultra thin, and has the most appealing paisly print on it... Available in 12 mo-3T.

Courage

Despite reoccurring colds, and a sometimes impatient mommy, Bella finds the courage to stay positive, even when feeling so ill. She begged to put on this Christmas dress that was hanging in her closet waiting for her to grow into. She was twirling around today on the front porch, finally showing a small side of "girly girl" (So far she has proved to be quite the tomboy)

Best Friends

Not sure what we would do without our friends. The community we live in enables even the most "hermit" (like me) type of people to meet up. I met my good friend Jill and her son at the community playgroup, then she introduced me to Stephanie. I feel very fortunate. They are true friends, and we have a lot in common...we share stories of mommyhood, and tears. As I write this, I feel the waterworks coming on. They are always cheering me on with all the crazy things I want to do, and support me and my family. There have been a lot of hardships for all of us, we share, laugh, grow together. Below is our lineup-all the little ones that bring so much to our lives, and teach us more and more everyday about patience and understanding. Here's to you girls, thanks for everything...

Do you like what you see?

A question that I frequently ask Belle when we are looking in the mirror. It is so important to give our girls the self esteem they need to conquer the world, don't you think? What fun we had today, taking pics of ourselves in the mirror. My only regret is that there weren't so many water spots on the mirror! My baby is growing up....

Gracie Lee

Just shipped off a "Gracie Lee dress" to a wee gal in Canada, hope her mommy loves it as much as I enjoyed making it for her. The "original" Gracie Lee still has to grow into hers! Gracie: 5 weeks old....

To Be Free

Oh to be free again....Belle will kill me when she is older, sharing all these moments with all of you...We were at the park today, Yeah! It was actually nice enough to be outside this morning, the heat of the summer is slowly fading away. Finally, we are ready for cooler times..Steph and I were sitting at the table chatting, when I looked over, and saw my sweet little girl stripping naked at the park (thank goodness noone was there). She wanted to run through the sprinklers. Why should I stop her? She took her snack and ran. She has never showed interest in getting pelted in the face by the rushing water, she was brave today. I am so proud of her...

Just Listed

Another Fall offering for everyone to peek at. A wonderful plum sateen with a beautiful drape. A box pleat skirt to match is in the works at the moment that is made of the most delightful fine wale cordoroy with a plum and cream floral print. I love this top, square collar, and silver "lovebird" buttons-yummy.

Labor Day '08

Labor Day this year was wonderful. Bella got sick the day before the trip, and we had to wait a day to leave. We sat here in our house super bummed. Despite her still having a cold, we went anyways. It is so hot here in Phoenix, it is almost a crime to be inside so many hours of every day. We can't go outside and do anything here right now. The minute we arrived at the cabin, a weight had been lifted off our family's shoulders, and we could breathe again. Thanks for checking out the pics of our adventure...... Bella in the field near the creek on one of our hikes.
" Come up here Belle!" Madeline yells.
My girls..
